About the Institute

Instituto Carrascal is a Brazilian civil society organisation in Quixadá (CE) spanning food security, housing, accessibility, university pathways, music, and EBAC‑backed tech scholarships.

Instituto Carrascal is not‑for‑profit. The community lineage reaches 19 years as Associação Comunitária Carrascal before consolidating as an Institute oriented to territorial scale and transparent reporting.

Physical headquarters remain in Quixadá — Ceará, articulating participatory governance and national partners anchored in audited communications.

Mission

Advance human development via structural programmes spanning food security (Mesa Brasil), inclusive mobility (wheelchair distributions), participatory housing design (IFCE), university access mentoring, EBAC‑level technology scholarships, and the Soar music school.

Public metrics are aggregated for communication; audited PDFs calendar under Transparency once the board homologates each release cycle.
